ANTH 408 [2022]

The beauty of architecture exists in the objective reality and the reaction of human mentality. The project focuses on an architectural component, a red door located on Hutchison Street in the heart of Montréal. The door's style and texture are explored as a medium to dig into the historical context of Montreal's forty-year development since 1980. The lady behind the door believes preserving Montreal's historic structures is vital, and her determination deeply moved me.
